July 11, 2019 5:37am edt. The orange order and approximately 600 bands have taken part in parades at 18 locations on wednesday to mark the twelfth of july.
Their marching season begins in february and continues through to autumn, with the biggest annual parading festival taking place on 12 july.
The host venues for this year’s twelfth parades have been revealed.
A twelfth parade will be prevented from marching through ardoyne in north belfast.
